REPRESENTING OUR STUDENTS
Brooklyn Institute for Liberal Arts proudly incorporates student leaders in key decisions to order to build a stronger school community.
Each year we hold elections, with students presenting speeches and competing to represent their grade in the student council.
Student representatives are:
- Strong public speakers
- Organized and adept at organizing others
- Trustworthy and well-respected by peers and school leaders
- Capable of mediating conflicts and compromising
These students work with administrators and teachers to fundraise, plan, and provide feedback on school events. Representatives play a particularly important role in organizing Senior Prom and other school functions.
