I'M LOOKING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS.
If you're looking for scholarships from outside your students' school, the list below includes some excellent places to start. Also make sure to check the following community sources:
- Family Employers. Large companies may offer scholarships to employees or children of employees.
- Churches or local civic organizations like Rotary or Lions Club. Some chapters offer scholarships.
I NEED A PROFESSIONAL RESUMÉ.
Two places to begin:
- The Purdue Online Writing Lab's section on Resumés has excellent sample resumés and advice for job-seekers.
- Once you have a basic resumé, you can create a more sophisticated version at Canva.com.
Once you have your first job, you will want to begin keeping a Master Resumé so you can easily adapt your resumé to help you apply for a range of jobs. Instructions for creating a Master Resumé are available here at Clark College Career Services.
I NEED WORKING PAPERS.
See Ms. Ologan in the main office. Working papers are available to students over the age of sixteen.
